PopRox Street Dance Class

PopRox will host a FREE street dance class on our Summer Green Street from 6-7pm. 

This is the PopRox class that started it all! A no-pressure and fun-focused way to learn a beginner-friendly routine and practice it to a variety of different songs. Instructor: Egypt Savaan 

All the way from Cincinnati, Ohio, Egypt Savaan is a versatile dancer with a background in classical ballet and majorette. Her dance journey began at the age of 12 and Egypt's dedication to the art led her to attend The School of Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, Ohio, majoring in dance from 6th grade through 12th grade. 

For Egypt, dance is a constantly evolving journey, characterized by fluidity and growth. Whether it is mastering new techniques, discovering unique styles, or expanding her dance wardrobe, she finds joy in the ever-changing nature of dance. 

In Egypt's classes, she focuses on creating a dance environment where students feel confident and have fun. It is important to her to provide a space where every class brings opportunities for unintentional learning through experimentation and enjoyment. You can find Egypt on the regular PopRox schedule teaching Ballet (Remixed), HipHop, and Kids classes!
